Ridge Braden drove in five runs from the nine-spot in the Heyworth batting order, and Heyworth powered its way to an 11-3 win over Fisher in Heart of Illinois Conference baseball action on Wednesday in Heyworth.

Braden's single in the third scored three runs, to put the Hornets up 6-0. He finished 3-for-4 with a double.

Braydon Laesch and Caleb Zellers had doubles while Boston Katz had a triple in an offensive power display by the Hornets.

Katz went three innings of shutout ball with four strikeouts, and four Hornets' arms combined to strike out ten. 

Heyworth goes to 8-11-2 overall and 4-6 in Heart of Illinois Conference action. They visit Peoria Christian on Thursday.
