A DeWitt County non-profit is providing fans to low-income seniors during this brutally hot stretch of summer.

On the WHOW Morning Show Thursday, DeWitt County Friendship Center Executive Director Paula Jiles told the Hart Media Group that the fan drive aims to provide seniors who meet certain income guidelines with a box fan. 

Seniors can qualify for a box fan on an every-other-year basis. Visit the Friendship Center, 410 East Main Street, for more information and to apply.
