The McLean County Museum of History has teamed up with the McLean County Arts Center to put together an America 250-themed community art collection.
Candace Summers with the Museum indicates that the collection is called "A More Perfect Union" and holds pieces that were created to represent core ideals and pillars of American society and culture. She hopes this work challenges those who view it to think critically about our nation and the way those ideals are lived out.
The collection will remain up through the end of the summer. You can see it at the McLean County Arts Center, located at 601 N East Street in Bloomington. Learn more about the McLean County Museum of History at mchistory.org or by finding them on Facebook.
