Clinton Police Report for April 28

Arrests:

On April 28, 2022 Clinton Police arrested Kenneth W. Eads, 53, Clinton, for the offenses of Theft and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Eads was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was released to corrections personnel for processing.

Clinton Police Holiday Weekend Report

Arrests:

On April 15, 2022 Clinton Police arrested David Delmonico, 46, Clinton for the offense of Residential Burglary. Delmonico was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing.

Citations:

Tiavie A. Watkins, 26, Decatur, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle

Joseph A. Edwards, 72, Clinton, Disobeying Traffic Control Device

Garold L. Leggions, 31, Decatur, Driving While License Revoked

Scotty L. Carver 50, Clinton Operating Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Notice to Appear issued

 

On 04/02/22 Clinton Police arrested Scott C. Islam 61, Bloomington for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Islam was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

 

On 04/02/22 Clinton Police arrested Sean N. Croft 23, DeWitt on a DeWitt County Warrant. Croft was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

 

On 04/03/22 Clinton Police investigated a Hit & Run accident in the 800 block E. Main St. A vehicle traveling eastbound on Main Street collided with a telephone poll causing it great damage and then the vehicle left the scene. Clinton Police located the vehicle and the driver in the 1000 block of East Washington Street. The driver Joseph A. Clary 41, Clinton was cited for Driving While license Revoked and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. Clary was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

 

On 04/03/22 Clinton Police arrested Timothy I. Winstead 47, Clinton for Violation of Order of Protection. Winstead was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.
