On 05/28/23 Clinton Police arrested Russell D. Huffaker 27, Clinton for Domestic Battery. Huffaker was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/28/23 Clinton Police arrested Carlos Bonilla 31, Clinton for Aggravated Assault and Disorderly Conduct. Bonilla was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/28/23 Clinton Police arrested Ariel N. Schepleng 24, Decatur for Driving While License Suspended, Moultrie County Warrant and a Macon County Warrant. Schepleng was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/21/23 Clinton Police arrested Nikolas K. Summitt 42, Clinton for Domestic Battery. Summitt was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/21/23 Clinton Police arrested Abdul Kader 37, Fort Wayne, IN for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer. Kader was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

Arrests: 

On May 9, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Devon R. A. Evans, 26, Clinton, on a McLean County arrest warrant for Resisting a Peace Officer/Failure to Appear. Evans was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and at the direction of McLean County authorities, was issued a Notice to Appear and released.

On May 10, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Wesley D. Thompson Jr, 29, Clinton, on a Macon County arrest warrant for Failure to Appear. Thompson was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing.   

*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Arrests: 

On May 8, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Nathan S. Dyer, 34, Clinton, for the offense of Possession of Methamphetamine < 5grams. Dyer was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing.

On 05/05/23 Clinton Police arrested Michael Johnson 24, Bloomington for Driving while License Suspended, Operating Motor Vehicle when Registration Revoked, and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Johnson was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/05/23 Clinton Police arrested Frances I. Bateson 54, Clinton for Driving while License Revoked. Bateson was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/07/23 Clinton Police arrested Jacques D. Washington 30, Springfield for Domestic Battery. Washington was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 04/28/23 Clinton Police arrested Chad E. Sexton 46, Wapella for Driving While License Revoked, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Expired Registration. Sexton was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 04/29/23 Clinton Police arrested Cody S. Cuthbertson 45, Decatur for Driving While License Revoked, Operating Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 2 Macon County Warrants. Cuthbertson was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 04/29/23 Clinton Police arrested Jeremy W. Mitchell 36, Clinton for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mitchell was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.
